A bouquet for you today

You are probably thinking I have forgotten about you. I have not. After almost five years of weekly thoughts and paintings, I am slacking as of late. And I never want to claim "busy", at least as a daily exclamation, as we all have commitments. Too much on our calendars can be self-imposed, and we need to adjust, though at times life throws us curveballs. Lately my commitments are overlapping, and my gas tank is running on fumes. I need a refill, and I really don't care what price I need to pay per gallon. The Hershey's kisses are just not footing the bill.
I love sharing my art each week and at my Open Studios along with the stories behind each painting for those who want to hear them. Last weekend's question was about the meaning behind my "Pink Kiss" painting, and I can't wait to hear any inquiries at this weekend's Open Studio.
Our house is taken over by cards and paintings and mugs and other art, and we are ready to have our regular eating spaces back. Couch eating is best suited to a slice of pizza or a cup of chili, not for plated dinners. Normalcy will take hold again Monday as we ready ourselves for Christmas.
My Friday newsletter comes out on Thursday this week as a few followers need this bouquet of flowers to know I am thinking of them today. Surely there are others who need a pick me up as well and I don't even know who they are. Lots of prayers are coming with this bouquet as well.
Having lunch with a dear friend recently who also loves flowers, we talk about how uplifting any type of flower bouquet can be. The blooms themselves don't solve anything I know, but the thought behind them may reassure someone that they are not alone.
